  1. Great set 5 Star Review

We did a lot of research before selecting the Black Diamond set of weight plates. The main factors for us in selecting this product - virgin rubber, functionality, appearance and price. All of which hit the mark. There's a slight smell upon opening but literally within a day, the smell was gone (the virgin rubber is so important). They look fantastic, we actually weighed them and they are accurate, and shipping was quick and reliable. We've ordered an additional set to get the 25lb weights too! Strongly recommend. Thank you!

  2. Very nice weights... use collars! 4 Star Review

They are top of the line construction as far as plates go, the high speed 2'' metal lined opening means they can slide on and off of the bar with ease. That said, they slide on and off the bar with ease, to include the plate rack. I lift alone normally in my garage and typically don't use collars often just in case I need to dump the weights. (I've never had a dump moment knock on wood') but the plates can rotate and slip down the bar much easier than my older set. No big deal if you use collars or a clamp of some sort already but beware.
